Grissom - Richard

Richard Grissom, aged sixty five years, died Wednesday at his home in Whitesville. He was the station agent at Whitesville and Wednesday while in his office received a stroke of paralysis which soon after proved fatal. Mr. Grissom served through the war in the Confederate Army but after peace was declared he came north and settled here. He was the superintendent of the Whitesville Sunday school and leaves a wife and several grown children. -s
